Inspiratie voor recruiters
Regelmatig krijg ik de vraag: lopen we nu achter op bijvoorbeeld Amerika qua recruitment, met betrekking tot het gebruik van sociale netwerken, nieuwe media, etc. Het antwoord is dan standaard: ja, daar gaat men wel verder. Heeft denk ik te maken met de ondernemende mentaliteit in die landen (Engeland hoort daar wat mij betreft ook bij). In continentaal Europa doen we het volgens mij best goed.
Dus voor inspiratie is het soms goed even over de oceaan te kijken. Ik doe dat zelf te weinig vind ik, maar krijg toch het nodige mee. En nu is er een lijstje (tegenhanger van onze HRlog Top 10 carrière) met 25 Amerikaanse recruitment blogs gemaakt, ter inspiratie en vermaak. De beste 25 volgens Alexa, wat natuurlijk een notoire onbetrouwbare ranking is (wat ook wordt toegegeven in het stuk), maar er is nu eenmaal niets anders. Altijd goed soms over de grote plas te kijken, toch?

I get the question regularly: do we look up to/follow(ie behind) America with regard to recruitment, specifically in the use of social networks, new media, etc. The answer is of course: yes, (we follow their lead? them), but take it a step further.

And now lijstje (counterpart of our HRlog top 10 career) with 25 American recruitment blogs have been made, for the inspiration and recreation. The bests 25 according to Alexa, what is of course a notorious onbetrouwbare ranking (what is also admitted in the piece), but is nothing else. Always well sometimes concerning the large puddle pool to look at, nevertheless?
